Worm Gear Case Study
A well known machine tool builder came to CG&S with a requirement for a precision worm and worm gear set for their 4th axis rotary table assembly. They were having problems with their present gear supplier on cost, untimely delivery and spotty quality.
We wrote a production plan and quality process plan for their parts. Our plans were agreed to, a subsequent contract was awarded to CG&S, and now our machine tool builder has been spinning circles around their competition ever since.
